The person supported has two staff with them throughout the week to support them to learn new skills and to live a meaningful and happy life. They can find it difficult to cope with stressful situations and manage their emotions, and they do need time and space to process their thoughts.
They are very chatty and independent and do like to be part of their PBS plan so that their needs are met in the best possible way for them!
The role consists of 3 shifts/week 8 hours 9am - 5pm on a 2 week rolling rota. This is 2:1 support and you will be working alongside another Support Worker when on shift. There is also a need to make 2 x 1 hour welfare calls on the other days which will be discussed at interview.
