37.5 hours per week

Introduction to the role:

Due to our continued growth, the Business Development team are seeking a self-motivated, dynamic Relationship Developer with excellent communication skills and a passion for connecting with people.  

You will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, generating new leads with external stakeholders and funders.  Once leads are qualified appointments will be booked for Business Development Managers.

Key responsibilities:

  • To grow the business by generating significant opportunities through phone calls, social media, emails and from marketing campaigns. 
  • To maximise the effectiveness of the business by producing high quality leads/appointments
  • To provide a high level of support by ensuring all queries are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner. 
  • Proactively follow up leads generated by the Business Development Managers.
  • Working as a team towards agreed key performance indicators.
  • Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business. 
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve Business Development Team objectives. 

To be considered for the role you must closely match the following criteria:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sales / lead generation experience
  • Someone who is unafraid to pick up the phone / try new approaches
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
  • A friendly team player, highly motivated to get results by hitting your targets
  • A genuine interest in working with vulnerable adults in a community setting
  • Competent user of IT programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems
  • Minimum education GCSE’s

Desirable:

  • Experience in the Healthcare sector.
  • Educated to Degree level
