Main Responsibility
As a Support Worker within Gray Healthcare you will join a specialist team supporting an individual within their own home. We support people with complex needs, who may have a Learning Disability, Autism, Personality Disorder, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Substance Misuse issues, and people whom require support with their Mental Health.
You will be an instrumental part of the team and will receive outstanding clinical support, leadership and person-centred training. In this role you will support an individual to develop or regain life skills, assisting participation in community life by building strong and trusting working relationships.
We don’t expect you to know everything when you join Gray Healthcare! We provide an initial week of training which is a combination of online training (company induction, systems, meds etc.) followed by in-person training on PROACT-SCIPr-UK which is a PBS approach to least restrictive practice, a therapeutic and proven alternative to restraint-dominant approaches. You will then complete the person-centred training, specific to the person that you are supporting. This could be PBS, epilepsy, ligature etc. and finally, you’ll complete shadow shifts.

About you
- We are looking for people who have worked in social care previously, ideally with autism experience.
- You must have current Right to Work in the UK and have 6 month's Healthcare Experience within in the United Kingdom.

Package Description
We are looking for a Male Support Worker to work with a gent in his 30's who has an acquired brain injury and mental health conditions. It is a lone working package so we are looking for someone who experience of mental health support and engaging the person supported in day to day activities.
We are looking for a new person for our bank team, this is flexible contract which does not have set hours. You will be offered available shifts on the rota to cover sickness and holiday.
