Job Introduction
Gray Healthcare have a new vacancy for an HR Assistant to work from the Wavertree office in Liverpool. It is a full-time role; Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, office-based only.
What you will do
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will act as first point of contact for HR-related queries from managers and employees, and seeking to retain employees through professional customer service, policy and procedure and best practice. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining essential HR information and working as part of the HR team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting line managers with cases including probation, long-term sick and low-level absence management.
- Process reference requests and processing employee changes including contract changes
- Providing ongoing compliance checks for Right to Work and DBS updates.
- Issuing recognition letters and awards.

What you will need
- CIPD level 3 or equivalent
- Strong HR Admin experience
- Experience of working in a GDPR compliant environment
- Ideally you will have previous HR experience in a the Health & Social Care sector or similar
- Understanding of HR role in safeguarding principles.
