About the Role
Gray Healthcare is recruiting a Finance Assistant to support our Finance Team at our head office in Alderley Park.
This is a key role focused on supporting financial accuracy, governance, and operational efficiency across the organisation. You will ensure financial transactions are processed in a timely, compliant, and auditable way, contributing to strong financial control and oversight.
This role goes beyond transactional processing. You will support audit readiness, maintain clear financial records, and contribute to a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Your work will directly support informed decision-making and organisational assurance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing accounts payable and receivable activities accurately and on time
- Managing supplier invoices, staff expenses, and payment requests
- Monitoring outstanding balances and supporting credit control activity
- Completing bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly
- Supporting month-end processes including journals and reconciliations
- Assisting with management accounts and reporting schedules
- Maintaining accurate records with a clear audit trail
- Supporting cash flow monitoring and prepaid card activity
- Communicating effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- AAT Level 3 qualified or working towards (or equivalent)
- Experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
- Knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations
- Experience using accounting systems (e.g. NetSuite or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and Office
- Understanding of basic accounting principles

Working Hours
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
- Office-based role
