The role:
The Data Analyst will report to the Head of Operations and Quality, and support heads of department to organise and analyse their data to enable the business to make informed decisions.
Data Analyst duties will include:
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Extract meaningful insights and trends from raw data and present them clearly and concisely.
- Perform statistical analysis of data
- Effectively communicate with the Executive Leadership Team, Senior Management Team and other stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
- The Data Analyst will identify and recommend new ways to streamline business processes
- Use data to support Lessons Learned approaches.
- Use data to support business aspirations, namely, to provide evidence to achieve overall “outstanding” - CQC Single Assessment Framework Inspection methodology refers.
Data Analyst essential skills & experience:
- Degree level education
- Experience of working within the Health and Social Care sector
- The ability to use a wide range of data analytics and systems.
- Solution focused
