Introduction to the role:
Due to our continued growth, the Business Development team are seeking a talented and experienced Bid Writer. You will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, with oversight of commissioning portals, playing a key role creating competitive bids that showcase our expertise.
Key responsibilities:
- Administering the company’s membership on procurement portals and frameworks.
- Conduct in-depth research on prospective clients, competitors, and market trends to inform bid strategies and positioning.
- Locate suitable tender and framework opportunities and present these to stakeholders.
- Timely planning, management and completion of allocated selection questionnaires and tender submissions through the various stages of the procurement process.
- Constructing relevant answers which clearly answer the client's requirements and portray the company in the best possible light.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance and improve the process, whilst obtaining and sharing best practices with the team.
- Undertaking research for the team to improve bid content.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of CQC regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable to complex care services.
To be considered for the role you must closely match the following criteria:
- Minimum of one years’ tender completion experience with good understanding of tender frameworks.
- An expert in creating professionally written proposals.
- Excellent presentation skills to pitch content, with the ability to convey complex information concisely.
- Strong research and analytical skills to understand needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine interest in working with vulnerable adults in a community setting.
Desirable:
- Experience in the Healthcare sector.
- Understanding of CQC regulations, CCG, LA & NHS England commissioning portals.
- Degree-level education in English Language, creative writing or similar
